I want to buy a house, I just found out my credit score is 536 I know part of that is studant loans, but I withdrew from school and have a letter from them stated that. My questions are, what is an ok score to be able to buy a house? Once I get the studant loans off my credit report how much would it possably bring up my score. Thanks much you guys are the greatest :)

We have a credit card debt management company who is helping reduce interest rates and all of that, but they say it's a 4 year ride on the payment train. Anyone know of a faster way than debt consolidation.

What happens to credit reports for people who return overseas ?

For three and a half decades Stateside, I made sure to keep my credit rating and record in the best possible shape, by paying all bills on time, and periodically checking the same credit report, even I hadn't used any credit to ward off fraud.

I then retired to my spouse's birth country in Asia due to low-cost and numerous family. To my surprise, a MAJOR Card Company with whom I had an account since mid-1970s, actually sent me a new card, even though I would not qualify for one because of the
relocation (I then send payment to Florida). I assume my credit score, and record continues.

Is my supposition correct ?

Anyone ?

I'll be needing several car repairs in the next week or so and will be accessing my line of credit from Visa (using convenience checks) to pay for them all at once in the meantime. The convenience check has my name on it, but who do I write it out to when I go to deposit it in my bank account?

My husband and I are looking to buy our first home. We have found someone we would like to buy the home from and the cost of the house is 116,000. That is not including extra money for the grading or anything else that will need to be done. We are looking to take out a mortgage of maybe 130,000. I have a terrible credit score and my husband has as fair credit score of 679. HIs dad has a pretty high credit score seeing as he has 3 2005 cars in his name. and 2 new houses in his name. and he is willing to co-sign with us. WE don't have anything to put down right now. It is a major cirumstance that we get a new place and I don't want to rent cause I feel that it is a waste of money. So now the question. Is it possible to get a mortgage for 130,000 with that credit score for less then 500 dollars a month..If you have any information please let me know! WE both work and have a total income of $1800 a month. WE live in NC..anything would be great

I the question I asked before was answered well. But, I am certain it was misunderstood. I owe nothing. I am free of any debt except my home mortgage. I have a really bad credit score. I have checked my score and I have 3 or 4 bad things on it. I need to know if a bankruptcy would help my score. or would just waiting it out be the best thing?

I pawned a designer computer. When I came to buy it back they said that they've lost the mouse and keyboard. Normally I wouldn't mind. But the fact that it's a designer computer the mouse and keyboard aren't generic. The sales clerk remembers the items but he said he forgot to write it down on the list. I would like to sell the item privately but these missing items will greatly reduce the value what can be done shoudl the store give me the value of these items back the total comes to £190
