I was just approved for a $15,000 loan but I want to make sure it's not a scam. I have 45 minutes before the guy calls me back. Has anyone ever got a REAL loan for atleast this much? I think mine is from Citi.....

I have 2 payments to my lender that were 31 days late (30+ gets reported). I have tried talking to managers on the phone, writing a professional letter, and offering to guarantee that I refinance my loan with them when my interest rate fixed period ends in a year, and they simply refuse to help me. I am trying to get a home equity line of credit to do some home repairs, and I am finding it nealy impossible to do so with 2 recent mortgage lates. My LTV of over 90% doesn't help things, but if I could get those 2 lates removed, I'd qualify for loans that go up to 100% LTV. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions as to what I can do to try and get those lates removed, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you, in advance, very much for your time.

I need to get a short term loan, possibly a pay day loan for at least $800.00. However, I would need longer than the standard two weeks to pay it back. Is there anywhere I could borrow $800 and pay it back over a 12 month period or at the very least have longer than two weeks to pay it back?

Guy in question has the Bank asking questions regarding income vs. job. He owns several buildings to which he receives Gov't stipen for letting homeless people reside - hence, generating more income than his Grocery store clerk would make. Don't known if back taxes, or property taxes, liens, etc., are involved, but don't want to inherit those financial burdens by accepting this temporary transfer of property. I believe I should have an agreement in Writing stating his and my intentions, as well as Not being legally responsible for debt incurred in past, or, during the transfer period. Do I need a lawyer, or, can a Notary just do a Deposition between us? I don't want to ruin my credit by helping out a friend - which he asked me if I have good credit.

June of this year i got a creditior calling me up and demanding 2k from me now. I asked what is it for he told me it was a capital 1 account open 7 years ago. I told him i dont recall that and i am going to have to look into it. He then told me i have till the end of the day to respond/then he is going to have to go ahead with suing me. Then he told me once he dose that he will get my county sheriff to come out and sell things of mine to satisify that 2k plus fees, about another 2k. I went to my lawer asap, we pulled a credit report, showed it charged off on june 2001. My laywer then sent this company a validation of debt with charges/payments and the signed portion of the document. 2 months have gone by nothing, my lawer sent out another one. all of these were certified and have been noted recived. Last week i recived a court summons for this, i tried to contact my lawer he is out of the county till 11/13/06 and the trial date is 11/7/06 any one been through this?

I want to buy a LCD TV and was wondering what is the best way (besides paying it all up front) to pay for it? Would I get a credit card and pay it off like after 6 months? How can I do this without paying extra?

I have moved out several months ago, and the apartment complex is attempting to charge me for what they claim is water damage to the carpet. However the damage was done by their cleaning crew when they came in to wet vac the carpet. When they finished, there was a bleached out section where they had cleaned. Is there a way to dispute this charge, before this is placed on my credit report? Should I utilize small claims court to dispute the charge?

Does the business still keep the payment (the transaction was already done) and/or just a flag or mark on their record by the credit card company. Does anything get flagged on our credit report? We have had some very bad luck with a photographer we worked with and considering this an option.

I haven't paid none of my credit cards for the past 6 years, they all are in collection agencies with tripple the amount I owned to begin with. Now, I finally got a good job and I'm not sure If I should start paying these outrageous amounts or if there is a law that I can erase all this debt. What can I do??

My friend wants me to cosign a car loan for him. He doesn't have credit, I do. I am worried about what will happen if he doesn't pay. I know that I would have to pay if he doesn't, but what can I do? Will his credit score be affected if he does not pay but I do pay?

Please give me some tips or advice. Thanks.

Do different credit inquires look at a specific credit company or they look at all three to determine your score. Why are there minor differences between the three reports one has my gas company account and the other two don't.
Ex. 6 years ago I took a car loan, when they check my credit they told me I had child support which it was not true. I checked my credit report from one of the credit companies (because I did not know there were three) and It was not there so I figured it was a mistake since my dad had they same name as I do and he was paying child support. 5 years later I came to realize that it was on my Transunion report so I took the necesary steps to take it out. Why is this?

I moved to Maryland from NY about 2 years ago, little did I know FCNB was suing me for an old credit card debt I had. The debt is about 5 years old and sometime after 2 years (when I was broke) the letters and bills stopped now they are trying to seize my bank account (an old acct I even forgot I had!), this is the first time Ive heard from them in about 3 years is there anything I can do without having to get a lawyer. Also I tried to contact the collection agency but they will not talk to me unless I give them my employment info which I dont dare do I think they will try and garnish my wages. I can afford to pay the debt now but not all in one shot, anyone know what I can do?

I currently have 3 credit cards (excluding cards from stores) with credit limit of $6,300, $4000, and $2000. The first card has a $2000 balance on it, and the other two cards have $0 balance. Since the first card and second card have 0%APR, i only paid $700-800 every months and put the rest of the money into saving.

My question is, if i raise my credit limit, will it help or hurt my credit score? (my current score is 740)

Thanks :-)
