I'm trying to find a credit card to build up my credit score, and im going over my credit report. My question is im looking at buying 2 lot's each 75/135 to build homes on.I was going to have my Dad get a loan on the land, and than have me co sign so I could piggyback off this.We would make payments on it say 7-8 months or so,than I would pay it off.i would than like to try to get a loan by myself after I payed off the property to build a home.I would be first time buyer etc.Would I benefit from this,or would it be better,if he co-signed for me than I would at least have a higher intrest rate.Any help thanks?

Bank of America had a system glitch and my finance charge went from $6.74 to $224.03. All they could say was I'm sorry we had a glitch. This is how the credit card companies make it rich.

Self and husband leased a vehicle for four years and I was a co- lesee only. My husband died after two years and I returned the vehicle voluntarily immediately after his death. Until the time of return the payment was prompt. I explained the situation and the organisation selected the option to not to collect the balance from me. But they have not taken my name out of their file and my credit report shows as bad report. It does not allow me to get credit cards. How can I solve this issue?

Sept. 5th I did an online dipute with Transunion and purchased my score ( it was 498). Today I get an updated copy of my report in the mail with 3 collection items deleted, 2 accounts being updated as paid. Just to see if it really helps my score I went online to buy another score and was told I couldn't because I've purchased one within the last 30 days. I didn't know there was a limit. Do you think my score increased? I have 2 more things due to come off in October sometime.
Thanks. Yeah I know my score is horrible.

al insurance, couldn't work like I did before, and you do the math. I moved out of state to be closer to relatives near a home I owned outright. I am still not working, but am hoping to do so soon. I have these outstanding debts, which I would like to clear up and now think I can take the stress of doing so. A friend said I should let sleeping dogs lay, but I am worried I could lose my home to a judgement even though the credit cards are considered unsecured debt. Whats the best way to find out who I owe what to? Can I negotiate a settlement? If one has secured a judgement can I try and still negotiate a lessor amount or am I stuck with a judgement? Is there anything I can do to make this right (of course without paying a whole bunch of stupid late fees, interest, and overlimit fees)? Thanks!

I had a massachussets law firm call me today and ask me to leave a message with a neighbor in my Condominium complex. I don't know this neighbor but I was given her name and unit number. The woman I spoke with said she needs to reach this person and asked me to give this neighbor the message. After a search on the internet I found this is a collection law office. Is it legal for them to do this? I would've have thought they had to go through a law office here in my state and pay for the service. But then I don't know the law.

I've paid off a credit card and don't plan on using it any longer. The credit company is sending me mailings about how they are decreasing my credit limit and crap because of "deliquency" and other things but I have not used the card in over 7 months and there is no activity on my account. They are pissing me off and I just want them out of my hair at this point.
