Sept. 5th I did an online dipute with Transunion and purchased my score ( it was 498). Today I get an updated copy of my report in the mail with 3 collection items deleted, 2 accounts being updated as paid. Just to see if it really helps my score I went online to buy another score and was told I couldn't because I've purchased one within the last 30 days. I didn't know there was a limit. Do you think my score increased? I have 2 more things due to come off in October sometime.
Thanks. Yeah I know my score is horrible.

I know there are more than 1 bureau, but for the sake of me being laid off and on unemployment I can't afford to pay for the scores from all 3. I just want to see how much your score can fluctuate from things like this.

I called Transunion, they said they can take my cc# and mail my score to me, so I said forget it, I signed up with truecredit. My score has went up 57 points. It's still not a good score but it gives me hope.

There is no limit with how often you can get your score-- I get mine daily through truecredit.com, which is run by transunion. Usually, though, it is letting you know that you have gotten one in the last 30 days, and its is "STILL AVAILABLE".

Double check that there isn't a link somewhere that you can update the report...otherwise just wait til later this week and you should be able to do it.

and Yay that you got FIVE ACCOUNTS upgraded/deleted. You dont say how many accounts you have total, but that could make up to 100 point difference.

Your score changes every time the information on your report changes. The only way to find out how much is to buy your score. There is no reason you can't buy the score as often as you want. Maybe Transunion has a policy that the other bureaus don't.

I do not think your score has increased just yet. Sometimes it takes up to 90 days to get those items off your report and your score corrected. Also, every time you 'pull' your credit score it actually lowers it. Inquiries usually lower your score a few points, could be more depending on your credit rating. Are you aware that there are 3 major credit reporting services? Exquifax, TransUnion and Experian. They use different sources so there is a high possibility that all three report will be different to some degree.

Call Transunion and ask them what your score is.
