I get Child Tax Credit for my baby but is there such a thing as Family Tax Credit as well? If so, who is entitled to this?

here's the thing... i've checked all 3 credit bureaus and i have good scores and bad scores, so is there a way i can lookup a credit card company by the credit bureau it uses to determine whether to give a card to someone or not? does that make sense? lol.

I am in the process of making settlements with my credit card companies. They have become delinquent accounts, but now I have come into some money and can pay them off. I have made settlements with some of them to pay off half of the amount owed and they will consider it payed in full. If I do this how does that affect my credit? Would it be better if I paid all of it instead of making a settlement? I was told that if I paid a settlement amount it would be as if I paid it in full. After I do this and all of my debt is paid how can I improve my credit? Or do I just have to wait 6-10 yrs for it to improve? Is there lawyers that can get rid of these accounts on my credit report? Or if I settle everything with these companies will they wipe it off of my credit? I'm quite confused on how all of this works so I am checking before I settle with these companies and pay it off. How do I protect myself?

Less than four years ago my credit score was 760. My wife left and ruined it all for me.
I was secondary on the car that she had repossessed because of her total lack of financial responsiblity. All together I ended up with three derogatory accounts and a present average score of 568. What is the best and quickest way to improve my score. I have always taken pride in paying my bills\ debts in a timely fashion.

i have a score of 575 if give them that cash, they would have to approve me for 300 dollars worth of credit, right?? then that would build my credit if i payed off balance monthly, and i would be on my way then... to bigger and better things.

A customer recently presented this card while checking in. Wow! I am impressed. I've seen many others Black Amex but this one is one of a kind. It's really heavy, like a fridge magnet but hicker. At first, I thought this was a prank or something. I swiped it through the machine and it was approved.

Anyone knows anything about this special card? I am just curious...

I closed on my home in June and have made 2 payments before due date. My credit report has not reflected this yet. What kind of swing should I see, good or bad. I'm hoping it will rise since I'm in the high 650's right now and trying to get better. Also, how long till it appears on my report. I just recived a pre-approved offer in the mail for the Chase BP Visa. It said to visit gasbackrewards.com and apply and I would be approved. Do these pre-approved applications that come in the mail really mean you will automatically be approved?

I currently gross 38K a yr and seven months ago I Paid and Settled off all neg debts my new scores are as follow
TU 615 EQ 677 and EX 658. I'm currently paying a monthly fee on all three CRA but I'm afraid that I haven't

me. I was a contract holder of a cell phone, and they closed me in good standing and now they have a collection agency on me blocking my ability to talk to them changing the facts out.

i had a dept with a bank over 10 years ago and a dept collectors agency have recently traced me. do i have to pay the dept. i have never spoken to the bank about the dept and i had forgotten all about it until i received a letter from the dept collectors. if i do have to pay something could i get it reduced as i have nothing left each month as i've now got 2 kids and a morgage and other depts i've got to pay off.
