You cannot dispute legitimate inquirys.......well, you can but it will probably lead to having a fraud alert placed on your reports.
Also, if you applied for credit then dispute the inquiry off, the company may also create headaches for you

Not worth it, leave them be and in 6 months they shouldn't hurt as much and in 12 months they are no longer a factor.

If there are inquiries on the credit file that are not legitimate then you can contact the credit bureaus and dispute them as such. If you feel that an inquiry was made by a company when it shouldn't have been then for sure dispute it.There are three major bureaus: experian equifax and trans union.
There are 2 different types of inquiries: soft hits and hard hits. The soft hits are the type that are done by companies who are only viewing your name and address. This is usually why you will get offers sent to you in the mail. These inquiries will remain on the file for 1 yr. Also any time you get a file sent to you or have a dispute - it will show a soft inquiry.
The hard hits are the ones that are done by companies that you apply with - whether it be for utilities or credit, jobs or apartments. These inquiries are the ones that matter and will stay on the file for 2 years.
good luck!!
