Bottom line is that things change. I now have a car that I can no longer afford. I am trying to determine if voluntary repo would be better than the payment being and staying late on and ongoing basis. Please help.

I have a credit card that's been closed, it still has a balance I'm paying off. I turned it off in hopes of paying it off faster, but it's going slow. Now I want to lower the interest rate, but the credit card company said I cannot do that unless I turn it back on. We are currently selling our house, and I don't want anything that will negatively affect my credit score for the new home we will buy, so I'm hesistant, but I would really like to get a lower rate too. Is that not true, should I just keep asking for supervisors so I can get it lowered while it's still turned off?

I traded my car into the dealership for a truck. they paid off my loan, from that car. and now i have this loan out for this truck. which is okay with me becus we needed a truck and not a car and this was the only way to do it. but since the dealership paid off my car loan, woudlnt that show up under my credit that i paid off an auto loan? i hear that that is a good thing to have a paid off auto loan show up on your credit. but now im hearing from others that under my credit it will show up that i have two loans out and it would be more difficult to buy a house. which is true? am i okay with what i did? or is my credit now bad? help!

I am trying desperately to build my credit but am having very little success. The only thing that is on my credit report is a car loan in which I have a co-signer. I got the loan about 3 months ago. I am trying to find something else to add to my name that I can build credit with. I have been denied by mastercard, visa, my bank, bp gas card, and express mens. Since these have all been inquiries, I do not want to keep doing credit applications since this will just further hurt my score. What should I do from here?

We are filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy and want to discharge all unsecured debt, but we are current on home and car and will continue to make those payments. We will have to fill out a B240 reaffirmation agreement on these or just fill out the Chapter 7 Debtor intent form that says we will reaffirm?
