AnnualCreditReport.com will NOT give you your credit score for free. I have yet to see a site that will. However, I got my credit score from Experian through AnnualCreditReport.com this weekend for only $5.95. I thought it was worth it.

It's now law that every person can receive 1 credit report (not score though) from each of the three credit bureaus once a year. You can spread them out and get 1 from equifax, then in 1 from transunion in four months, then 1 from experian in another four months. That way you can keep track of you credit report regularly. You can also just get all three reports at once, but you'll have to wait a year to have free access to it again.
