they wont you have to. a few hints that I have learned is keep credit cards to be no more than 1/3 the limit, pay on time every month when you have a bill that is paid off keep harassing the company that put it there in the first place. I have heard of companies that post every month. When it is too old to post they create a new account number and start the process all over again until they do get their money if they have received nothing. You cannot pay some company to fix your credit.

There are companies out there that can "streamline" your credit report, but what they do is something that you can do yourself. Pull a copy of your report. As you know, Dubya Bush made it possible for everyone to have 1 free report from all 3 agencies a year. Look for mistakes on there. If you see any, dispute them. After that, look for the debts that have been on there for years and years. Anything over 7 yrs can be dropped off your report, but i think it varies by state. After you've done that, you have to pay off what's left. They have excellent articles on MSN.com (Sorry Yahoo!) under their money section in regards to credit and credit reports. You should check them out.

You can correct incorrect information on the credit report. You can also ask that accounts that have been closed be noted as such. If you are in arrears on some accounts, you can start paying on them, and have that reflected in the report as well. You can't have truthful information removed AFAIK, but you can have the report show that you are taking positive steps to correct situations that don't look good. That won't get your score moved up from a 500 to an 800, but it will move it some. You still have to pay your debts before it will really start looking good.
