I mean, no matter how much money I have, why is it important that I get have good credit 2 rent an apartment? No one wants 2 rent me an apartment b/c of my credit, but I have FEMA money from Hurricane Katrina, & apartment renters still want u 2 have good credit in order 2 get an apt. & also, u have 2 have good credit b4 u can get a house or car.

I have some items to correct on my credit report. One was a state tax lien. My lawyer was supposed to handle this. I wrote him two weeks ago reminding him of this, along with sending him all of the documentation. I haven't heard a thing. Should I go ahead and send my info to the credit company or wait to hear from my attorney? How long?

i used my moms credit card cuz of an important thing i had to buy. i feel guilty that I used it without my mom knowing. i have the money to pay for the item but is there any ways my mom not find out about this? I would pay for the item if can without my mom knowing. also how long is it before the bill for the credit card comes out? itz visa card

I just got a letter today for my 2 year old daughter saying a visa account at Cabela's was turned down due to lack of credit history. I know it was my ex because he loves Cabela's. I also know he would ruin her credit because he hardly makes enough to support himself. What can I do to keep him from using her SSN to obtain credit?

the collection agency stopped taking $100 out of my checking account a few months ago and now they want the full amount. I don't have $9000 to give them. They won't work with me. THis is a credit card. Bank of America bought out Fleet bank (the original credit) Therefore bank of America bought out my account. I had a payment plan with Encore who was the collection agent for Fleet before Fleet and Bank of America merged. What should I do? I don't have the money. I am living from paycheck to paycheck right now.

I bought a new car and for the montly payments i get a ten day grace period. Does paying on this grace period, (me going to the bank to pay not by sending my payment through mail) affect my credit score? Would it make a difference if i sent the payment by mail on the grace period?

hello i had a credit card charged off 4 years ago i did not have any means of paying it. the company said we are just charging it off. i get a call from a collector friday telling me i have to pay 2400 today. I dont even have a fraction of that money, we just had a baby and are living on ends meet after our mortage payment. I told this guy this and he said "tuff buddy." If you do not pay 2400 today i fill file the court papers today, then they will force you with wage garnishment. What should i do, no equity in our house, she cant go back to work yet complicated pregnecy. i have never recived any contact from this agency till now.

I am getting ready to pay off my debt but when I do that I know my score will not go up by much. I can't get any loans because my credit is THAT bad. What can I do? I make my car payments but that doesn't seem to help it by much? Can't get Credit Cards, nobody will give me one! lol! Is there anything I can do to increase my credit score drastically?

I have a lot of medical bills, that I am waiting to be paid off by insurance agency but in the mean time does anyone know how I can get a loan to pay them off, because until the company settles with a good settlement my credit score is dropping. So how can i get a loan thanks for helping lol
