I do this for a living and there arent many places out there for free. zabasearch is a good one but it's not all recent info. yes, public records are easily accessible if you know the county and sometimes the dates. Some records are going to be listed by drivers license # for example or you sometimes need to put in middle name or some detail that you may not have. Best of luck....there's not much out there even for me that's free.

a person's criminal record is a matter of public record. you may not be able to pull it yourself without paying for a service, but an individual may pull it themselves for free by going to the courthouse and requesting a copy of their background. when we ran a small business and were in the process of hiring an employee and couldn't afford this type of thing, we would ask the individual to request a copy of their own report from the locality in which they reside and ask them to have it certified by the county or notarized by an independent 3rd party.

ive never seen anywhere to do that...

you can go to zabasearch.com and get a birthdate and address ... and possibly a phone number

but they charge for background checks too =[
