With a relatively simple case, is it out of the question to think that I can file bankruptcy with a kit?

I got behind on my car payment to Triad bank and they accepted that I would catch up on the 1st of the month. I still get calls from collectors twice a day or more telling me I have to pay it earlier. They tell me that "the system doesn't recognise a verbal agreement" and that they "autodialer can't be turned off". My god, I made a deal, they accepted it and they still harass me constantly. Today the guy told me I absolutely had to pay it two days earlier than our deal was set for. Can they legally harrass me like that? I'm guessing they can or they wouldn't be doing it it...

I filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy but did not put 2 credit cards that I had purchased clothes on it. Both cards totaled only about $300. They continued to charge me late fees and penalties during my bankruptcy. They eventually charged off the amounts and put them on my credit report as charge offs, but now I have collections agencies constantly calling 3 and 4 times a day trying to collect on these accounts. Could the credit card company charge me late fees while I was going through my bankruptcy? How can they charge off a debt and then still try to collect.

Hello,
My inlaws were on vacation to come home with these messages on there machine. Both were from this guy named tom harrington asking for my wife in her maden name. One stated a phone # and a legal matter, the other dicussed about a 1099c filing. My inlaws at once where under the impression it was the IRS. i called the # right away, and asked for this Tom. He asked for a ssn# i only had a case. He then pulled up a file and demanded 3,000 $ now or else he will take me to court for 6,500. I asked him why he told me it was a credit card my wife opened 6 years ago and made only 3 payments. I told him i dont have it and he said see you in court Mr. after that conversation he left a message on my in law answering machine stating if she dose not call by the end of today it will make matters much worse. I did ask my wife witch she dose not have the best credit about this. she dose not recall owing that much on a credit card. what should we do.

I have a credit score of 555 and my wife has a very good credit score. I make over $70K per year and now I need a new car for my work. The last car I bought I paid for in cash because of my credit score. All of my credit issues happened in College 5-7 years ago but is still haunting me. If my wife's crediit score is over 720, and she co-signs do I get the interest rate based on her score or an average of both of ours? Any help is appreciated before I submit fo a loan application with my credit union.

I have obtained a current copy of my credit report and paid off all outstanding debts. The only thing I owe on is my truck and that is thru Chrysler. I have raised my score from 560 to 628. The last two negative items I have gotten deleted have not raised my score. Does deleting old negative accounts always raise your score or do you hit a point where it no longer helps. I now have 19 positive and 17 negative items. Any advice would help on how to continue to raise my score.

A relative is going to loan me the money I need to pay off my credit debt. I'm suppose to file my appearance in court on Tues.

Should I call and make arrangements to send the payment in to the credit card company or the collection agency?

Do you think they will dismiss the lawsuit?

So my concern is about the sales ledger operations in a Hotel industry, as the Hotels sales are on room accomodation,(so selling rooms), Why do they need a credit control for their customers? I mean for their hotel guests...or issue credit notes to them? I dont understand the sales account in this hotel industry, as the customers or hotel guests pay for the accomodation when they check-out the hotel. And what type of invoices do they issue cant get it???
I am a student and curious to know about working for a hotel, as I know how to maintain a sales ledger in a wholesale or retail trade business. But in hotels the nature of accounting is different..
If someone can help it would be Great.

Thank you a lot.
