ok, you guys are probably a little confusing to someone who doesnt know what a credit card is/how it works...
A card you give to a store to pay for something...or a restaurant, hotel, whatever you want to buy...
Then all you do is sign a slip that says you will eventually pay for it.
The credit card company pays for it and tells you on a monthly bill whatever you owe them......
12.00 haircut
50.00 dinner
200.00 hotel room
etc etc...
then the cred card company says you gotta pay for this but if you want you only have to pay 20.00 this month...
....BUT if you only pay that 20.00 than, you will get charged 15.00 because you still owe us all this money. So, when you send that 20.00 you are really only giving them 5.00
Basically!....that is how it works.
Most of the time, if you pay it ALL off the first time you get billed, or pay it all off every month, they wont give you any nasty fees, but then again, they dont make any money!
Learn alot!!! about credit before you ever get a credit card!!!

You apply for the credit card. once you get it, you are given a line of credit, with an established limit. You can purchase most anything up to your limit. the credit card company divides your balance and charges you a monthly rate for your current expenses on the account. for providing you with this service, they charge interest on the money you borrowed from them when you used the card. This figures into your bill and can be anywhere from 8 to 25 percent depending on the credit card company and your credit score.

THEY ARE DANGEROUS BECAUSE YOU BUY STAFF AN CHARGE IT ON THE CREDIT CARD AT THE END OF THE MONTH YOU GET A STATEMENT AND IT CHARGE YOU INTEREST ON THE CHARGE, DEPENDS ON THE CREDIT CARD THE INTEREST COULD BE UP TO 19 PERCENT AND THEN IF YOU DON'T PAY THE WHOLE BALANCE IT KEEPS ADDING UP AND THEN YOU OWN A LOT SO IF YOU DON'T NEED CREDIT CARDS IS BETTER FOR YOU
