for a free credit report for whatever 30 days or the small print is. Is it smart to get this a few times in 30 days then cancel the service? Does this hurt your credit rating? We have great credit but we have not looked at it in over a year so I want to make sure we are still in the excellent credit "zone". Thanks!!!

I live in Bronx, N Y and I need help. If any one can give me ideas of how to get appplicants for credit cards or places where I can leave credit card applications for people to apply. My school was give a unique opportunity. For every approved application a get 10 points. What ever is my total they will devide it by half and credit my tuition that amount. So if a get 100 people to apply for a credit card and get approved that will equal 1000 points so I would get a $500.00 credit to my tuition.

I make payments on my credit card instead of paying it in full. I'm 19 years old and will soon be looking for a place to live. Will the fact that I pay payments every month affect my credit history? Is it bad to do so?

It was for a credit card payment to Target. Do I need to go there or will that contact me or will they just try to re-deposit it? I have the money to cover it in my account now.

Okay, so my husband has a debt with a collection agency. We want to pay off the debt and when I called I told them we could pay $100 a month. They said that they would not accept this because it would take too long. They said that the payment would have to be at least $300 or more a month. On top of it all they said that we could make payments of $100 a month but that they would still take it to court. Is this even legal?

I have an outstanding balance with a creditor, I called one of debt releif organization. So I am making monthly payments. The collection agency put my account as "charged off". Are they allowed to put the status of my account as "charged off" eventhough I am making monthly payment?..is there anyway to get this erased from my credit report.
Thank you all for your help.
