I agree with everyone about stealing...yes it was wrong, yes, you should not do it again. But all that preaching is not going to solve your problem.
Best course is to confess to your mom and deal with the consequences.
But.....
There is one thing you can try. Return the item to the store and get a credit on her card. Then repurchase the item for cash.
If you are still in the current credit card cycle, you will have a charge and a credit on the next bill for the same amount. Since the two offset each other, maybe, just maybe your mom will think it was some sort of mistake and ignore it.
BUT...if she calls the credit card company to ask what happened...then she will know someone used her card without permisison...and the jig will be up.
Best you come clean...but you can try the other approach.

The best thing that you can do is come clean now and tell your mother what you did and that you have the cash right now. The charge will still appear on the bill regardless of whether or not you sent the money. You are better off giving her the money now than for her to find out that you used the card behind her back and then tried to cover it up.
When you use a credit card, every single transaction is recorded.

The purchase is going to show up on the next bill. Be smart and approach her first and confess. Explain your remorse and hand her the money, plus accumulated interest or an offer to pay that interest. You're always better off if you fess up and make right before it's discovered. That shows someone with a sense of integrity.
Next time, don't borrow mom's credit card. Ask her to do it for you.

Well I dont know how old you are or if you have a bank acount but if you have one you might be able to call the credit card company and make a payment to her acount. I would still tell her or just give her the money and tell her you needed something realy bad whatever it was say youre sorry and hope for the best. Either way she will find out so its better for you to tell he than for her to find out another way. Next time ask her first im sure she would have said yes if you had asked her in the forst place as long as you had the money to pay for it.

sorry, I think you are going to have to tell her. The statements come monthly and I am sure she will notice a charge.. So before she goes calling the credit card company and the store and making a big deal about this...be honest now, and offer her the money to pay for the item when you tell her about it!

LOL. You'll be lucky to not go to jail for credit card fraud.
I doubt that what you bought is something you "needed", but more like something you wanted. She gets a bill that will itemize what was bought, when it was bought and for how much.
The best thing you can do at this point is go to your mom and confess, and accept the punishment, which *should* be you having to return whatever it is you bought.
If you do something like this to a stranger or a business you work for, you will get arrested.

uhmm your screwed! She will get the bill and figure out she didn't purchase that item..NOw if it was that important, you should've asked your mother's permission before using the card. It really bad now that you still want to hide the fact from your mom...makes me wonder if the thing you bought is really important! Go tell your mom what happened and pay her back...

What you did is called "identity theft", and its a felony. A major crime, IOW. If your parents -- in an effort to get the charges reversed -- notify the credit card company or the companies you bought stuff from that you used the credit card illegally, the police will be involved, and you will most likely get arrested. As you deserve to be. Whether you go to jail or juvie will depend on whether the District Attorney chooses to prosecute you as an adult or as a minor.

I'm with everyone else. There's no geting aorund it. You better tell her now and pay her. Let her know that you realize how wrong this was and that there is no excuse for your actions. Next time ASK FIRST! Go to your mom with cash in hand and ask if you can use her card and pay her in advance.

You stole money from your mother to pay for something...
Well, you can tell her now, or she will find out when the bill comes at the end of the month. Better to just say, "It was an emergency. Here's the money, so you'll have it when the bill comes."
