I worked 2-1/2 weeks for her, kept track of my hours. She paid me a little bit here and there, but not enough. I sent her my hours and told her I can't keep working until I find out how much you are going to pay me. This was when 2 weeks was up, when I had sent her a copy of my hours. Then when I went in the next day, she proceeded to tell me she pay per project and gave a list with some things on it to do and with a ridiculous amount of time I was suppose to complete them in. (Tell me this after working 2 full time weeks with some OT!) I knew then she was going to try to cheat me. Sent her another email telling her I can't keep working for free, I need to know? I got not response to I haven't been back. Sent another email with time extented out with minimum wage (Big Deal) and she tell me to send her a list of the things that I complete. I was reading at the Labor Board site, she has to pay at least minimum wage and if pay not received withing 72 hours she has to pay more.

This is the story. i applied at the Airport for a retail cashier position, and a friend needed a job also, so i told her to apply there too, then we needed to get drug tested & background check. Then the hiring manager was taking a while to tell us if we pass, my friend then called her and asked her what was going on, so she checked if we passed and we both did, the next step was to get finger printed, and we went. I received a call from the manager saying that my finger prints where ok, but my friend didn't. So my friend called her asking if she passed, and she told her yeah, then all of a sudden i didn't hear from my friend or the Mgr, but i called my friend and she told me she was working already BEFORE ME! I was like OKAY WHY?!? When i had applied/got interviewed BEFORE her! What do you all think?

I'm a freshman in high school and I'm thinking about pursuing a career as a FBI agent. What do I need in order to get accepted? What kind of classes should I take in high school (if necessary)? What should I study in college and some good colleges in California to study that subject? I want my job to be exciting and filled with action and not as a linguist or something. I've already been to fbijobs.gov. Basically, I want a outline of what I should do throughout the rest of my academic career.

I want to become a GM of an NFL team, or just be in the front office, maybe one day be an Owner... BUT I wanna know what College's would be the best for me to go to... OR what Degrees would be the best for me to work at, to get me set or to have NFL teams look at me... I am still a Freshmen in High School but I am still looking at the future and just looking at my dream job.... Even if I fall short of NFL GM, then I'll be where I wanna be because I wanna own my own business anyways...

A lot of women managers seem very plain or unattractive. I am sure there are a lot of attractive ones also. It seems like attractive women have to make male friends at work a lot of times because the females are petty, unfair and unfriendly. What is your experience?

Calling all employers!

Has this ever happen in your company? This staff had been working in your company and he seemed okay. Then suddenly, you fire him. Why would you want to fire a staff after he has worked in your firm for 2 years? Why wait? If the staff has a problem, should you not fire him immediately? Why would you wait until 2 years?

My boss has asked for my career goals for my review this year. I've been at this company for 11 years, this position 4. I'm happy doing what I'm doing, and feel like I'm a "life-er" with the company. I'm not sure how to answer this without sounding like I'm lazy or boring, but I'm not really interested in "climbing the ladder". How should I respond?
