look at bank account information of other banking institutions customer's? Can they even get into anything personal of another bank's customers?

No. They wouldn't have any access to any information outside of their own bank. Not directly at least.

Only way I can see that happening is if they knew someone at another bank who inappropriately (and probably illegally) shared private information.

A loan officer can only get information from another bank if you have given them a written, signed authorization form that comes with all mortgage applications. That's certainly a common practice to verify bank accounts and employment records directly.

But without your signed authorization, any sharing of information would be an illegal breach of your privacy.

Not at all.

By law, banks are very stingy with your information.
If the AVP is shady, she has the information (social, address, birthday) and other personal information of yours at her bank and could use it to access your other accounts. However, if she is a VP, or someone on that level, it's highly unlikely that she would do that.

My expertise that throughout banking, decrease point worker pay is so low that almost everybody is a vp of something. i assume it feeds the ego. i understand this is been that way for some years.
