The job????

i want to get a job with the CIA or some other kind of intelligence... i want to be a field agent , goin to dif. countries, undercover, many aliases... this is the career i really want to purusue and has been my dream for quite some time noe... im a freshman in HS... what classes should i take in high school, college, and other things to pursue this further

When you get to college become a Criminal Justice major. When you are a junior or senior in college sign up for an internship with the FBI or CIA to get your foot in the door. Often they do not pay you for the work you do during the internship, but it will give you more credibility when you apply to be an CIA agent. Usually they do a battery of tests when you apply like IQ, psychological, physical, so make sure you stay in good shape.

I can think of better ways to serve my country than beign a field spook. Playing James Bond is all it's cracked up to be.

That aside, the CIA can, and does, use just about any degree you can come up with. I think I would concentrate on the diplomacy classes that might eventually get me into an embassy or consulate general's office somewhere. Languages are also very helpful, as is military science and engineering.

all the math you can possibly fit in! Defiantly Spanish, but French, German, etc... is a big plus! Take some summer courses to learn an new language if you have to. Although this will not be toward H.S. credit at least you will have that experience and it always looks great on a college app. I would volunteer or try to get a job with the police dept., court house, etc... That will also look good on college app. Take ROTC if offered in your H.S. That will get you places. I would go into some Field of the forces after H.S. You get money for college and experience.
