Calling all employers!

Has this ever happen in your company? This staff had been working in your company and he seemed okay. Then suddenly, you fire him. Why would you want to fire a staff after he has worked in your firm for 2 years? Why wait? If the staff has a problem, should you not fire him immediately? Why would you wait until 2 years?

Isn't waiting 2 years for him to straighten up too long? Why not fire him immediately?

After 2 two years you would think whatever the problems were could have been discussed and worked through. And if the issue was addressed and the person never corrected that then they just put up with it .. then after 2 years they probably had enough!!!????????

Good Luck!

I think he might already had two years to straight up, but he might choose to not want to. We never know the real reason unless we were there with them. When you first met someone either you think you like them or you weren't, but you couldn't judge someone by your feeling. Everyone have some goodness in them. It would take times to really sure what kind of the person you are with. Sometime it took a married couple that live together for years to call on quit or divorce. Some people could show up their true self like of the bat; such as, lie to the boss and co-workers or steal from the job and the boss or someone know about it. Some are just plain lazy or try to get away from work, call in sick. These people had to give the boss a fatal reason to get fired. It is not easy to fire someone. First, the boss have to have a replacement ready for that job. Take a guts to say "You're fired" unless you are Donald Trump. After that is paper works of documents with a good reason to why he/she(the boss) fired this person. In case it might be a law suite from the person who get fired. Most of all, don't you think that any relationship should have a chance to develop before determine to discharge them.

it's all about the politics of the firm. They needed him for that long, it's as simple as that. all companies do is chew up and spit out.
