I missed a day of work because I was sick and I told my supervisor that I'd bring in a doctor's notice explaining why I was out sick. However I wasn't able to go and I'm afraid I might get in big trouble. Please give me your most honest feedback.

I am a CNA and wil like to know if working on a Per Diem basis is right for me. I have 2 kids and need to start working and the job I just found is working in a nursing home as a Per Diem CNA( certified nurse assistant) I really need to work to catch up on some old bills. What are the positive and negative sides of a Per Diem job?

Anyone have any really good ideas on how to stay motivated at work? I have an office on my own and sometimes I find it very difficult to stay on the job. Playing on the internet (like I am now lol) is much more attractive. Can anyone give me good motivational tips?

I would be laying out the signs and reproducing logos. scanning and be involved in the printing and production. Also some vehicle wraps. There does not seem to be all that many entry level opportunities in Colorado Springs, but this seems less creative although I was getting more freelance work. I am a career changer so I don't have as much time as a younger person. Thank you for any thoughts on this.

I find myself CONSTANTLY editing sites I come across in the web. I even email the owner of the site with all the corrections. Some local news stations have thanked me for my 'help'.
My question is can I become an editor without having to get a degree? I'm disabled so this would be good work for me since I could do it at home (I do a ton of research for people too). I was at the top of my class when I was in school and had my health not failed I had planned to go to college but I'm not sure I could do that now. I just thought it would be nice to be able to get paid for what I already do.
(Too bad I have a hard time editing myself :)

Any suggestion you have would be appreciated.

I know it's bad but my job treats me like crap and barely pays the bills. I am going to blow a gasket soon so thankfully I have other job offers flowing in (5 in total). Nevertheless, I need this job until I can secure another one - to pay bills and to keep shelter over my head? Any advice?
