I have just a resume and I can do cover letters. But for my first resume building job, what can I present in a portfolio? The package?

what type of industry are you in that you need a portfolio? are you in some sort of design (landscape, art, graphics, internet, mechanical).. i'm just trying to figure out what type of job you're looking for that the employer would ask for a portfolio.

if you're in entry level and looking to jump quickly to a high paying job; i'd suggest first find an industry or a position that you really like and enjoy, be proactive and learn as much as you can from the employer, get a mentor, play the politics, work your way to 3-5 years... while doing this, if you have the motivation and discipline to finish your bachelors degree, you will definitely benefit greatly.

most employers now require a bachelors degree unless you really have an unique skill-set...

sorry if i didn't answer your portfolio question and your package? question... but i just don't get it...

good luck.
