Why Be Bilingual?

-good pay
-good interaction with ppl
-etc...

thats part of good paid, jobs, what else guys help plz

yes good interaction with ppl, and its not that ppl are lazy to learn english, but its not easy, try learning spanish, then just think about it, ok its hard to speak spanish so that is one feeling a share with ppl that don't speak english, its hard, thats just for the second anser thanks guys the ones that understand that english is hard, for some of us,

you can always get a job if you know MORE than one language...almost every place in the world needs interpreters.
(police, stores, schools, government, CIA, FBI...)

Where do you live? I live in Miami Beach, and the reason for being bilingual here is so you can communicate with the ones that are too lazy to speak American. Sorry that is my feeling. However, I have been here 16 years and do not speak Spanish. If I was in a spanish speaking country I would speak Spanish. I am in my country and my country speaks English. I was born and raised in the US of A.

Maybe I didn't answer your question, I don't know, but if you live in the USA, why do you have to be bilingual. When I was in Texas, everybody had to speak English or they wouldn't get a job or any help.

employers seek more bilinguals even trilingual people know as we live in a multicultural society. So you can communicate with more clients, saves them from recruiting 2 people
