Better late than never. Just think about if they wanted to get rid of you, once hired, they would do it, without any notice. They should be glad that you are letting them know, a lot of people just go on with their life without looking back or caring. Consider yourself a professional for thinking of even letting them know. Do not think yourself rude.

Well it depends on what kind of interview it is, if its especially just for u so it will be rude. But if there are more than 1-2 people it will be like fine. Why u wanna cancel it the day it is, but its fin to cancel it bcoz no1 cares abt it as far ur not going to join the place later on. Hope it helps.

Yes, I believe it is rude to cancel on such short notice unless it's an emergency. Even if you no longer want the job, go through with the interview. It can be a good experience for future interviews. Thank the interviewer for his time, because he DID set it aside for you, regardless of whether you changed your mind or not.

once you're particular you don't love it, then with assistance from all means cancel. yet once you're on the fence in any respect, flow to the interview. often times a job that did not sound very promising once you appied for it seems to be a lot more advantageous powerful than you concept once you definitely see the position and get to communicate with the people there. you are able to continuously say no later on if it really is no longer what you want.

Don't cancel. If you can, go for the interview and learn about the job, and see if you'd fit. Even though you may not accept the position, you will still learn something about yourself, and your self-esteem will be all the better. I once went for a job interview just for the heck of it, and I was very surprised with what they had to offer. You never know what luck will come your way.
Good Luck.

Unless there was some dire emergency like your parents were in a car wreck and are being air-lifted to the nearest trauma hospital, it really does not look good for you to cancel a job interview, especially at the last minute. If you do cancel it, don't bother to reschedule.

It doesn't sound like you're interested in that job so save the interviewer some time and call and cancel. There's no point in showing up for it when you don't want the job anyway.

If you have a good reason and you're canceling the interview cause you don't want the job, then no it's not rude. But if you are planning on rescheduling the interview, it may not look too good.

Unless there is some real emergency I don't think you should cancel the appointment. If you do you're surely not going to be considered for the job. If you really want the job - or at least a shot at it, then you need to show up. Good luck

Don't bet on getting a job there at a later date, but they count on a certain number of people to cancel interviews.

Well if you don't need the job anymore then it is ok, but they probably won't give you another interview in the future. If it is an emergency then they will probably understand. Even if you don't want the job though I would still go, it is good experience, plus there would be no pressure.
