Oh my! My doctor thinks I have scabies! I have to remain away from work for the whole weekend - untill he can run more tests.
Then
It was just an alergic reaction to work, after the break, I'm all better :)

Food poisoning always worked for me, especially bad seafood. A good excuse for a Monday: went out of state for the week-end to visit family or friends, and the car broke down....waiting for AAA, but that is going to take a while, plus the travel time to get back......you can make up the rest.

Holy Crap look at the great excuses!! How about this, you SHOW up for work. If you have such a bad job that you call in so much, why dont you do something about it, get a job that is going to bring you financially some satisfaction. You know, this is really laughable~~how to get out of work~~I have the feeling it wont be a problem for you for long, I think you will have many days off in your future. Not to be hard on you dude but....wow....this is responsibility in INACTION

Say you have a migraine and that you've seen the doctor for it in the past, and you have meds you can take for it, but you can't stay awake when you're taking the meds.
Say you've got terrible diarrhea...just the fact that you will say it, even though it's embarrassing, makes it believable.
Say your brother's car broke down and you've got to drive to some city 3 hours away to get him and his kids (you'd have to name a city though).
Keep in mind, though, that calling in sick may mean you eventually get fired (although they will just say you can't return until you have a doctor's note), get passed up for promotions, or don't get raises. If your job makes you so miserable that you want to call in all the time, maybe it's time for a change.
