like second class citizens? from the agency and the employer, its like they use you when they need you and then throw you away like trash when their done..... anyone had this experience?

My company requires that any same sex coworkers traveling together share a single hotel room. Am I the only one who around here who doesn't want her coworkers to see her in her jammies and bunny slippers? This seems to push the limits of professionalism, and is totally trapped in the past because of course it assumes everyone is straight. I've worked for a few different employers and this is a first for me. My boss said that of course I can have my own hotel room ... if I PAY FOR IT!!!

Is this crazy ... or am I?

Ok, I used to work at a retail store that has a Pharmacy... You know the HIPPA law, that the employee cant discuss your information with anyone... well yeah... About 6 months ago I found out I had Chlamydia due to my husband cheating on me... but this is not what I want to talk about... The pharmacy tech is now going around spreading rumors, because she also had it and knew what the meds were used for... Well, do I report her to management and get fired or not. My husband and his ENTIRE family still work there and now his family know. I am really upset about this... I found out about the rumors on myspace. SHe is the only one who knew.. I am not looking to be judged, I just need help, to know what to do!!

I am going for business. If I go I will get opportunities to intern in places such the Waldorf Astoria, the Crowne Plaza, Trump International.. I am going for Hospitality Major (which is business) My ideal goal is to be a hotel administrator at a prestigious hotel.
I got accepted and they have given me 7,000 dollars scholarship for each year. Plus Fafsa..
Does anyone know how this ranks?

I was recently terminated . First time ever and it was during a probationary period. Now, the interviews are starting. I tend to be very honest. My daughter says..you need to tell them what happened, etc. My friend says, don't tell them, they will never know and don't need to.. trusting yahoo's fans in the past..what is YOUR opinion?

I am starting a new job I was just wondering if for some reason they decide to get rid of me can I still draw unemployment even though I just started the job? I have worked fulltime with another company for the last 5 years and I just want to make sure for me and my families well being that I could draw if I was terminated during my first few weeks / probation period before taking on a new career.

I am in the USA soon to receive a working permit, so I want to volunteer my services until then. I am currently volunteering at my local library and loving it, but I want to volunteer somewhere I can get a job after. I was thinking to volunteer in an organization where I can do programming/software/web design etc. and help solve software-related issues. I need your help with other places i can volunteer. Thanks.
