Calm down, you don't want your health to go south and add to the problems. :) Smile. I have a couple student loans too and I'm trying to do anything I can. I was able to start my Mary Kay business, and let me tell you its not just for girls there's guys out there selling to. I would say keep applying everywhere you can and look for ads in the paper. Why don't you go to the park and collect cans if it has come to that....its at least something you can do while you wait. Can you do anything else or do you have any skills like car stereo installation, car washing, construction, landscaping, do you have some extra blood you can sell? lol. Well, those are a few ideas, some may require start up cash but you can always work something out. Don't be to proud to take bad jobs or "not your kind" jobs I'm sure theres something in the paper though. Good luck.

I hope you have a "rainy day" fund, or some kind of savings account. If so, that will take the sting out for a little while. If you were fired, you may want to take a look at applying for unemployment. If you have a disabling condition and cannot work because of that, you can apply for Social Security Disability. (I say this because you didn't specify the reason you lost the job--and frankly it isn't any of my business.)
Okay, it's springtime and the grass is beginning to grow, some.. at least in the south, so if you're not up north, the horse may be able to graze, somewhat, and that may help. Maybe a friend who has a horse, too, could help with feed?
You may be able to re-finance the car and get a lower payment amount, maybe re-work the insurance coverage a little or change companies and get a lower rate there. Personally, I'd call them and tell them I'd lost my job and I may have to skip one month's payment, or maybe two, until I can get another job. Assure them you aren't skipping out on the debt.
Look around. Is there something you can pawn, for immediate cash?
Take a deep breath. Check out what you do have, and see where you stand. Once you have a grip on where you are financially, you'll be able to develop a game plan. It's just the immediate shock of it all that's got you, right now. You didn't get where you are now without the motivation to take care of things, and you'll find work. Every morning is another opportunity. Just keep your eyes open and see what develops. I'd call all my friends to see if they know anything about a job opening anyplace. Ask them to call around, too, and something will turn up. Just keep reminding yourself that it's always darkest just before the dawn, so don't let it shake your confidence. You'll be okay.

If you weren't fired because you screwed-up, consider the unemployment office. I always avoided it because I was usually fired for good reason. This time, I was just down-sized. The money isn't good, I get the maximum and it's under $300/week but it is keeping my bills paid.
Also, if you are really worried about losing everything, consider doing a job you wouldn't do under normal circumstances. You know, either minumum wage or back breaking labor, while you look for your job.
Try being a waiter, it's fast money (shitty work) but money on the spot. In my area if you go to a chain restaurant dressed nice WITH A PEN!!! you can be working in a week.
Good Luck!

Perhaps you can do more in your search for a job..
Do you discriminate jobs? Gas stations, burger places and security companies are often hiring.. Write more resumes, visit more stores and companies, read more ads... Also start lowering your expenses, you could cut off cable, blockbuster and avoiding unnecesarry driving to save every penny.. Good luck.
