the online surveys where you get paid?Ive heard of it,and it sounds interesting, but Im skeptical because it requires you to pay something first. If anyone is familiar with it and can give me either a thumbs up or thumbs down about it,that would really set my mind at ease. Please reply ONLY if you have tried or no someone who has.......Im not looking for anyones OPINION,just straight facts-thank you....

I'm stuck in arut and don't know how to get out of it, I'm in a low paid job, infact every job around here is low paid thanks to the foreign workers, I'm in a lot of debt, I work just to pay the debt, I have money for nothing else, I'm depressed over the head of it all and don't know what to do.

Its really depressing having no money, I've never had a holiday, I can't afford a car, I can't get any loans to pay of debts.

I just feel totally stuck a totally fed up

I worked for my current employer for about a year between 2004-2005, then went abroad for a little over a year and then returned to my employer.

Now I am looking for a new job and have updated my resume where I show that I returned to this employer. Does it reflect negatively on me in the eyes of a prospective employer that I returned? or is it no problem?

I'm 16 and my parents are buggin me to get a job. I want one cause i need the money, but i just don't want to work at a fast food restuarant. I live in a kinda small town, and don't have the biggest selection to pick from. What kind of place would be a good place to work at besides fast food?

i still think the nintendo wii is a ripe off

with the ps3, it will take a year or so, for the really good title to come out and there are allready some cracking title on the 360, so the 360 will always have the advantage, plus the games aren't as expensive

£450 for a ps3 and some game, thats too expensive and the release titles are about £60

I was called by a staffing firm to permanently work with an employer. The employer hired me and the day before my start date put me through the ringer because they didn't want to pay the staffing firm for their services. The employer ended up hiring me under another company name, in order to hire me and avoid a law suit. I started with the company and have only been there a couple of days. The place reaks of smoke because most everyone smokes inside their offices. I was warned by another employee that the owners fight all the time, they verbally abuse the employees and micromanage them.
It is the environment I didn't want to work in. I'm in need of the money too.
I'd like to quit....what would you do?
My first partial paycheck would be this Friday. I'm thinking of collecting 2 checks, continue looking for a job and leaving with a little money in hand. What would you do?

I've been working at a job in my field for about a month and a half. I feel they misrepresented certain aspects of the job, and also the pay. I've been gaining important experience, but I don't know if I should list the job on my resume because of the extremely short time I've been there. Any ideas?

I completed a written employee interview and answered the questions honestly. I was told that my answers made the company look bad and now I am being accused of insubordination. The questions are subjective and require the employee to answer with their opponion. I made no negative statement about the company but I did answer the questions honestly as to my experience. I was told how I should have answered the questions to make my supervisor and company look better. Is this insubordination?

I'm always freezing at work, the air conditioning blows all day long directly on me (during the winter). I wear layers of clothing and normally must wear my coat all day long. This past week I discovered a thermostat in hidden spot - the temperature has ranged from 55-59 degrees all week.
