They scheduel me to come in for 4 hrs. and stay over nite with out pay, and resume my 12 hr shift the next day. They say they can do this because they 'give me a bed' and that they are a non profit organization.
Also, I broke my wrist [at home] and they wont put me on light duty because 'there might be an emergency'. I can't think of anything I couldn't handle. I love my job, and I love all 14 of the residences

I'm graduating high school in June and yeah I have no idea what I'm going to do after. I am perfectly happy staying at the job I'm at now working full time, but my mom really wants me to go to college. So heres the thing, I have no idea what to go in for. ANY IDEAS? I have about a 78% average which isn't bad but isn't that great either, I'm not good at math, my best subjects are Social and Biology.

My mom said I should go into zoology. What is zoology? What kind of job does that give you anyways?

Okay anyways any ideas would be really helpful cause I seriously have no idea and time is running out on me.

And I realize that even woring full time at my job probably isn't going to be enough money to allow me to live on my own.

I would like to be a book editor when I graduate from college, but I was wondering how much money do book editors make on average? I'm asking because I want to be able to live pretty comfortably (a nice house/appartment, food, heating, pets, etc) on my own, and I want to know if I would have enough money to do that. Also, should I major in English? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but is it usually required that the person wanting to be a book editor majored in English? Thank you!

There's a question asking: "Why are you interested in working for our company?". How would you answer this?

It's for Bed Bath and Beyond, I don't specifically want to work for them but I need a job. (and I definitely don't want to tell them that)

Upside is that this is clearly job security for me but it causes serious communication issues because 1/2 the time I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what I'm talking about when refering to this system. As a result, in the past & just recently, I did a report based on data from the system with a category that is wrong because he has been having me input the wrong info. for 2 yrs. He apologized but I'm the one fixing it for the last several days. I got a great review last year but the money did not measure up when raises were handed out. Advice on how best to approach this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I am a manager and would like to move to another area of the business. I have applied for the position, but by boss doesn't know this yet. I think that I should let him know before he finds out himself. I am worried because He always turns to me to "handle" everything for him. I think that he will give me a hard time; especially if I don't get the job. Let me know how I should let him know.
