I'm graduating high school in June and yeah I have no idea what I'm going to do after. I am perfectly happy staying at the job I'm at now working full time, but my mom really wants me to go to college. So heres the thing, I have no idea what to go in for. ANY IDEAS? I have about a 78% average which isn't bad but isn't that great either, I'm not good at math, my best subjects are Social and Biology.

My mom said I should go into zoology. What is zoology? What kind of job does that give you anyways?

Okay anyways any ideas would be really helpful cause I seriously have no idea and time is running out on me.

And I realize that even woring full time at my job probably isn't going to be enough money to allow me to live on my own.

You don't need to know what career you want before you start college. Just being there will give you ideas as you talk to other students. Besides you need to take a bunch of standard required classes during the first two years anyway, and you can wait until your junior year before declaring your major.

Your Mom is right. First go to college and then you have two years to decide what to declare as your major. This doesn't necessarily lock you into a career, you can still change your mind later, but at least you'll have a college education and many more opportunities will open for you.

Register at Monster.com and take some of the personality profiles. They return results showing careers that align with your interests.

Zoology is the study of animals. I'm not sure how lucrative a career that would be-but if you like animals try a vet or a vet's assistant.

Follow your Dreams. Most of the wealthiest people never went to college - they built their own businesses.
