There's a question asking: "Why are you interested in working for our company?". How would you answer this?

It's for Bed Bath and Beyond, I don't specifically want to work for them but I need a job. (and I definitely don't want to tell them that)

You can say, "I am looking for a position that will allow me to utilize my customer service skills." or, "BBB has a positive environment. This is a high priority in my employment search."

It butters them up without going into detail.

The best thing to do is to study about the company and apply it to your skills when answering this question. Like for example; The reason I am interested in working for your company is that I have the required skills to fill the (what ever the occupation is) you are advertising and I like (what ever about the company has) which is the kind of company I would like to work for.

well it usually works to say that you think is a reliable company and that you like the atmosphere of the place, it seems neutral and won't hurt anybody's feelings

those forms are pretty standard and i am pretty sure that the question won't be the deciding one.

good luck

Tell them that you are interested in home decor and the retail industry and that you feel working for them will give you a great education in both.

Good luck.
