Like homicides. If you think of one how many years of colledge would I have to do. Would I have to get a bachelors or masteres degree?

Ummmm...

That would be THE POLICE DEPARTMENT!!

Just contact your local police department and see what the requirements are. I can't give you specific information because they vary to much from country to country and from department to department.

Most police departments don't require a degree, (though I am sure one would help). They can teach you what you need to know, in fact they prefer that because they want you to do your job THEIR way.

That is what police academy's are for.

They are more interested in what you bring to the table as a person. Did you do well in school? Did you do athletics? Are you patient and hardworking?

If you do well as a patrolman, then you can work your way up to detective over time; through a system of exams and seniority.
