I would like to introduce myself as Eric Chua, a recent Electrical
Engineer graduate from the University of Queensland with 2nd Upper Honours and the winner of the Best Thesis in Power Engineering 2006 among five universities in IEEE Queensland. I am currently a self funded wind power researcher.

It would be great if you could help by advising or suggesting some companies in Brisbane, Australia which have a focus on Renewable Energy (esp Wind) technology.

Also, I will really appreciate it if you think there is someone I could contact in Brisbane. It would be great if you have any information about this.

I graduate in May with a Masters that qualifies me for 80k/year jobs for the first time in my life. I am also 33 with infertility issues. It is time to start a career and take a job with long hours to make a name for myself, the baby I want to make will require time for in-vitro treatment and impair my ability to be at the top of my game during pregnancy. Can anyone see a way I can have both? Must I choose one? If I wait to job hunt for the hard job I need to get the right training into my 40's- I might not be such a hot hire when my degree is seven years old and I compete with the new grads. Good luck conceiving after 40. What words of wisdom can you offer?

I have a person under me that hasn't been working well and has all around been denying my authority and slacking off. So, he needs to be fired, and I don't want to be overly mean or anyhting jsut tell him that "Hey, your not doing your job and we need to get someone else to do it."

Also, were both in a youth group (So were kids, teenagers) if that impacts your answer at all.

i was scheduled for a phone interview this morning at 9am. the interviewer was from UK -- and when i checked, 9am philippine time is equivalent to 1am uk time.. i was waiting for her call but it didn't come through.. what could it mean? was she aware of the time difference?

Problem at job?
hello everyone! im in a bit of confusion right now at my job, there' a fellow co-worker(supervisor) that tends to critique me about something. today, for example, i recently had my hair styled and many gave me compliments, when she saw my hair she had to negatively comment about it has happened before. she asks me personal questions like i do i have a boyfriend and i give her short ended answers. she also questions why i stay to myself. what's her problem?

Im currently majoring in electrical engineering and I need about two years to finish my BS. Well i was just wondering if i should attempt a MS? The classes are challenging right now but I love them. How harder does it get? Does salary change alot if you get a MS in engineering?

I work with a total jerk. He claims to be a "Born again Christian" but is constantly pulling pranks and blameing others, leaving coffee cups with other peoples names on them around the workplace and doing similar harassing things that make the other workers upset with several of us. He has even told others he wants my wife and I to quit so he will be the "Top dog" (I have worked there for 2 years before he showed back up, ) It is driving me nuts! He is the worst person I have ever worked around, and he even tells others we work for him. How is there to handle this but to just grin and bear it. The Bible tells me to ignore it and God will handle it. This is so hard to do!

i was never bad at math
i always got about B/C average
and i got A/B average if i got
good help from the teacher
im one of those students
who might not get it at first
but after a little help
i totally get it.

So my question is
i heard you have to take
a lot of math to be a vet
if im not the greatest at math
should i not even bother...

im guessing i could alway sget a tutor
or just try really hard, this is college
im not in high school anymore
i dont have to worry about friends
and popularity and activities to get in my way

i went to an i.m.e on feb 16 for my back and called my adjustor yesterday and she said she was still waiting for his results so we can move on with my treatment . Does anyone know how long it should take because i think she is lying. Its been since 12/04/2006

heres what gets me....when you stand at the customer service counter and an employee is waiting on you, and guess what? the phone rings and the employee leaves you standing while they wait on the person on the phone..that's garbage...you are there first, standing right in front of them and they put the phone customer first....this happens even at small businesses where the owner is waiting on you....
