i was scheduled for a phone interview this morning at 9am. the interviewer was from UK -- and when i checked, 9am philippine time is equivalent to 1am uk time.. i was waiting for her call but it didn't come through.. what could it mean? was she aware of the time difference?

It could mean anything from "the interviewer is a clod who can't figure out how a calendar works", to "the interviewer got stuck in another meeting", to "the interviewer already made a hiring decision and hasn't told you".

Best bet is to call the company, or the recruiter who scheduled the interview for you, and ask them.

Could also means she found someone to fill the position already.

means keep looking. you can't hang your hopes on just one interview.

numerous things.....i would contact her again just to see.....if she avoids your call, then I would worry about it.

I would give her the benefit of the doubt....at least this first time.
