Alot of colleges have a radio station right at the college, start by going back to school for broadcasting.. Thats where you have to start..no one will hire you without a degree..

Move to Fargo, North Dakota or some other cold, small town and apply for a job at the local radio station.

Then like Oprah work your way up the ladder by being successful at that job and moving on to a slightly bigger city. After 15-25 years of moving to bigger and bigger cities you may end up in Chicago, LA or NYC.

Good luck.

go to a broadcasting school (there's one in every major city) when you graduate you will usually start as a radio dj in a very small town but over time and paying your dues (like every other field) you'll work you way upt to a more major radio station or newscasting network. good luck. the radio world is fiercely competitive though!

Speak with the network provider and see if they do take in trainees.
