So if a company deems you as non-rehireable for any reason, is there a way in which you can actually get someone to look into the situation and have it taken off your work record? I mean, if it's a simple misunderstanding of course.. or are you stuck with that regardless?

My dad never told me about the glass ceiling...actually, he probably never knew it exsisted. I hit it in my early thirties, and I hit it hard. No, not hard enough to break thru, just hard enough to remind me that it was still there. Is it still there? How do you overcome it? Is it diminishing with time and with the growth of women in the workforce? Do some industries have tougher ceilings than others?

I am in such a delimna at work. I am friends with this girl in my office. It's just me and her. She has been doing this job for 6 months and has not gotten the hang of it and my boss is tearing his hair out from all her mistakes. She's the sweetest person and we go out to lunch alot. She loves her job.
Today my boss asked me into the office and wanted to inform me what was going on. He said in the next week they were going to ask her to take a nother position on the plant floor which was where she came from. My boss said she is just not getting it. She does make so many mistakes that costs the company money. I usually try to catch her mistakes but sometimes I don't.
I feel like crying w hen he told me that. It is going to kill her to be sent back to her old job. It's like a demotion.
I was told not to say anything so now I have to work with her and I had to lie to her about what my boss wanted. I said I made a mistake and he wanted to talk to me about it. I don't know what to do.

I mean, since when has it become a virtue to love to be stressed out from impossible deadlines and unrealistic working conditions?

Why have we accepted this as a success formula? It seems to be more of a request from the ever increasing greed of business owners...And please don't lay out that it about the raise in competition in the industry... I don't buy that....its just a corporate cry! I mean corporation have never made as high of profits!! So why do we buy into it?

Ok, I have looked at the current situation and it appears all our prisons are full, so with the exception of murderers and people who don't pay their council tax it seems highly likely nobody else will get sent to prison no matter what they do.

Therefore I have decided to quit my 9 - 5 job and become a criminal.
I mean you can chose your own hours, take a day off whenever it suits you, you can even get drunk on the job, theres no tax and the pay seems pretty good.

So my question is where shall I start?
I was thinking of prehaps some interenet scams to begin with, a few burglaries and muggings was also an option.

I don't have the guts to do a bank robbery so any more ideas what I can do?

I'm leaning towards making a career change, yet I have no financial industry experience. I feel as though my resume would look more attractive to employers with this license, yet you can't sit for the exam without sponsorship. A bit of a catch-22. Is there any conceivable way around this? All my research says no, but I'm sure there is someone out there with a similar experience. One idea I've had is contacting a firm, explaining my situation and asking for sponsorship while I incur all the expenses for the exam. Does that sound at all feasible to anyone?
