I'm leaning towards making a career change, yet I have no financial industry experience. I feel as though my resume would look more attractive to employers with this license, yet you can't sit for the exam without sponsorship. A bit of a catch-22. Is there any conceivable way around this? All my research says no, but I'm sure there is someone out there with a similar experience. One idea I've had is contacting a firm, explaining my situation and asking for sponsorship while I incur all the expenses for the exam. Does that sound at all feasible to anyone?

Do you have any family members who have a broker?

Small size brokers in your area may be willing to work out some sort of work arrangement for sponsorship if you approached them.
