My spam folder always is full of e-mails about working from home. They all seem too good to be true.

You can google any of those websites that they send you and the results will almost always have "scam" in it somewhere. Some of them even take you to bogus websites where people have spent a lot of time trying to find ways to get one over on you.

Most work at home jobs are sales based unless you have a special skill such as web design or programming.

There is a website where real jobs are posted everyday, where companies are looking for people who want to telecommute.

Some of them require you live near a certain area just in case they want to meet with you in person periodically.

They are all real jobs where you must send a resume, have some type of special skill, and most likely have experience.

. Here are some of the jobs listed

Email or Phone-based CSR
Ad Sales Pros - Top Gun Talent
Webmaster / Designer
Phone PRO Needed for Successful Entrepreneur!
Professional Telemarketing

What you need to do is differentiate work from home JOBS and home based BUSINESS, a job just pays for what you do, but a business creates income. You don't have to pay anything to get a job, but most of the on line ones need very careful checking.
Now if you start a normal business it costs money even if it is just buying stationary etc, so don't listen to those who say never look at anything that you have to pay out for, they don't know what they are talking about, they obviously have never started a business of their own.
Home based businesses on the Internet also need careful researching, but there is one which has been researched by the billionaire Donald Trump and his verdict is that it is probably the best available in the world today for its ethics, honesty and integrity. Take a look at this web site www.iolair.acnrep.com where you will get an overview of the business.

Here is an excellent paying to post forum. It is free and it is not a scam at all. It is not a bogus. It pays you to post your opinion, and pictures. You also get a certain amount every time that you login. Not to mention that there are daily contests held at the site, where you can win big prizes. There are also an option to browse the web for money. Some contests will reward you will referals, and some will reward you with money. I am sure that if you sign up, you will make much friends and money.

P.S. The more people that you referal the more money that you make. So referal your friends and family. The pay per post rate also changes every month. The more you post, the more your money will go up. So please sign up! its free!

Chances are that if they are sending you spam, its bogus. Also bogus if you have to pay them in order to, supposedly, get work from them.
Like a previous answer said, about the only way you can get a "real" job working from home is if you set up your own business.

I know what you mean. I felt that way, too, until I found my current job. I work from home with a company that manufactures products that we’re already buying elsewhere, but they are better, safer & healthier. We just help set up customer accounts and the company pays us to do so. We set our own hours and work as little or as long as we want. It is a wonderful opportunity and has really benefited our family. The best part is, there is no financial risk involved. You are welcome to email me for more information: burbankhomework@yahoo.com

One of my friend recommended me a very good matrix system recently called "Our Power Forced Matrix" (OPFM). Thus, I joined the program and found out myself that it's real and legal. Actually OPFM is a group of people working hard together as a team to build a strong matrix, we all shared an uninformed dream, that's why we help each other to achieve our goal. Of course it's not free, I don't believe one can earn money without hard work or some investment. But the nicer part of the matrix is its due is only $7 per month(Almost everyone can afford a $7 matrix), and it requires only 2 paid members on your first level(you can either pay for them or let them pay by themselves) to cover your dues. Matrix has the most advanced pay plan on the net. Commissions reach $11,600 with only 5% of your downline filled. Because I think this program is very good for a beginner who want to start his/her home based business, therefore, I share it here. And I'm willing to pay for those who is serious.

The company is legal, it's inspected by U.S. Attorney for compliance with U.S.regulation.

If you are a reliable and teachable person who really want to start a home based business, I can pay your way in the matrix. But, this offer only availabe to those who are serious.

i read emails at home with my kids and get paid to do it. its really simple and doesnt cost anything.... i dont trust websites that want money. so i ended up at hits4pay. no sign up fees and it doesnt promise youll make thousands a day. its slow going at first. you get paid $10.00 to sign up and $0.02 per email you read. these emails are not sent to an email address, the website has an internal inbox. (really nice). so i did it for a few days... i averaged about 7-10 emails a day... well $0.20 a day wasnt gonna help. so i started recruiting others. that when you make the big bucks!!! I have 55 people directly under me and 54 people under them... so now lets say that only half of them read their emails everyday (10 emails x 55 people x 0.01) Im making $5.50/day for doing nothing!!!! Thats $170.50/month FOR FREE!!! But why wouldnt everyone read the emails??? You get paid to sit at home and look at advertisements!!! You do this while you watch t.v.? and you dont get paid!!!!
im also looking into other websites that have no sign up fees or any other fees... i let all my referrals know my findings good and bad....if you do decide to sign up please join my team via my yahoo 360 page or this link below...
hope this helps:)

I believe that any company that asks for upfront or initial payment/deposit for work at home jobs is likely to be a scam. Check this out for data entry work from home jobs without any investment http://www.pcworkathome.net/dataentryjobs.html
