You go and fill out a job application and when you hand it in to the receptionist, they tell you they do not need anybody.
Why did they not tell you up front they do not need anyone
instead of wasting your time to fill out the application?
Another incident My brother worked at a hospital,he took
me into personnell and said this is my brother and he would like to apply for a job.I filled the application out.
after handing it in she said the hospital does not hire
members of the same family.
Why didn't she say that up front? She should have came
right out and said I am sorry but it is hospitals policy they
do not hire members of the same family.

A co worker of mine is a real b****. Other co worker complain, guests complain but because we're short handed this person has been allowed to keep her job for now. This person was in a position above me but recently had her title taken away (mostly because of poor attitude and lack of work ethic) I know for a fact her title has been removed because "the big boss" told me himself. She knows as well that she is no longer my superior but my equal. Problem is she doesnt know that I know this. She is still treating me like I am so far below her Im eqaul to dirt. Whats a tactful way that I can let her know that I know or should I just continue to let her make herself look like an idiot?

We got a quote of $250/hour from someone and that seems to steep, so I wondered what the going rate is for an IT person of this skill level.

These don’t need to have the exact skills outlined below, but someone is that realm (i.e. not a basic pc helpdesk guy).

Thanx in advnce

I am a university student in Chester, England. I simply don't have the time to go out and get a part time job, it wouldn't be practical. And no, I'm not lazy!!

I wanted something I could maybe do on the internet, apart from online surveys!

I can't find much, and I know alot turns out to be a scam, or you don't get paid.

Any advice or info?

Thanks in advance!

I have about 170 credits in college but have just taken off some time and plan to go back to finish. (i know...a lot of credits because i switched majors my junior year) i took off time because i had a baby and plan to go back to finish but not sure when. so, in the meantime, how do i note this in my resume? i don't want to put that i have my high school diploma at the top bc it may just look like i haven't even been in college and employers may just pass over my resume. should i put the dates that i attended college and somehow note under my college name the number of credits received towards my bachelors? any ideas???

I am employed full-time at a company that I like; however, I have recently graduated college and I need to find a job that will get my career more on-track, and more importantly, move out of the town that I have lived in my whole life! I am waiting until I hit the 1-year mark at my current job before I quit, but when should I start LOOKING for a new job? Ideally I would like to have employment secured before I quit, because I will also be relocating if everything goes smoothly. My employer will be pretty understanding about it, I imagine.

he has been doing drugs since he was 12 and he is 19 now. since we have been together this past 2 years he has only done drugs a few times. But recently (like last month until now) he has started doing drugs with his co workers. he has been at his job since march. is there a way that i can convince Wal-Mart to do a random drug test? if he gets fired its ok cuz he has two other jobs to support him. I just want him to OPEN his eyes and see how this could truly effect him.
