Go for it... But don't call me

You can give it a try, and see if you like it, or not. There are some people who enjoy doing this kind of work and do very well with it.

Years ago, when I did telemarketing, we had scripted material that we had read, and you could deviate very little from the original script, or they would get all over you.

This was the same thing over and over again and that actually got boring as the dickens.

Good luck!

Telemarketing is a hard job - you must have thick-skin as people will curse, holler, hang-up, blow whistles and all sorts of thngs. Think about some of the things you have done or that you have heard of.

But if you like people, like to talk, are a good sales person do it. The money isn't great but it's not bad. Sometimes you have to try things for yourself. You may love it.

Happy Holidays

I've done it and it is boring but you can get into a zone. The bonuses were great and if you are not being offered any, just ask for a bonus structure. That is where the money is in telemarketing. Also, ask if you can work from home. Saves time and gas for you. Best of luck to you!

I hate telemarkerts to call but I applaud your tenacity to work and not expect others to support you. If you are interested in other income to supplement your job check out www.xango.com. Its a great opportunity with a legit company and you work for yourself and build your own business. You will need a sponsor to get started if interested and I would be willing to help you if I can.
