A co worker of mine is a real b****. Other co worker complain, guests complain but because we're short handed this person has been allowed to keep her job for now. This person was in a position above me but recently had her title taken away (mostly because of poor attitude and lack of work ethic) I know for a fact her title has been removed because "the big boss" told me himself. She knows as well that she is no longer my superior but my equal. Problem is she doesnt know that I know this. She is still treating me like I am so far below her Im eqaul to dirt. Whats a tactful way that I can let her know that I know or should I just continue to let her make herself look like an idiot?

I recommend you smile and wait - if the boss downgraded her and her attitude continues, the boss will hear of this and her next move will be out the door. Then the problem goes away.

The trick is to outlive all the people who are a pain. ..

I guess u have a right to your share of fun.. If she keeps treatin u lik this, u do know that she's "making herself look lik an idiot".. but she does not realise na? there's no fun in that..

Better - wait till the day u can bear no more.. When u feel she has definitely crossed the line and gone too far, just give her the sweetest smile u can cook up and tell her "Err... I had a little chat with boss the other day.. And got to know some interesting bit of news!" and then leave :) (maybe to add to the effect, you can smile patronizingly at her and pat her shoulders reassuringly before leaving)

Say nothing more! Let her mull over it and lose sleep! Will surely cut her down to size!

How about just facing her and letting her know that you are quite aware that the job structure change and that her new position equals yours which means that none is above the other and there is no need of the two of you being at conflict instead work at the betterment of achieving your targets.

I'd let her keep looking like a moron. But if you really feel the need to rub in her status or she pushes you to far with her demeaning attitude by all means point out you know she lost her title.

Yeah, if she's that bad, her days are numbered anyway.
