Does anyone know where I can find a good career counsellor in Calgary, Alberta? My sister lives there, and was hoping I could help! + What do career counsellors do anyway?

Last week I posted a question about what type of career I should do in the future: a high-paying career that I might not want to do such as working as a doctor...or a career that I'd enjoy doing...like drawing or animating. Most people answered that I should do something that I love to do... However, now my question today is: What job fits my interests/hobbies or combines them?

I don't want a job to be low-paying... Please help. Thanks.
I like using creativity so I was thinking DRAWING I'm also interested in digital art and I think I'm good at technology. I'd like to act or dance but I've never had any training and once, when my friends and I were filming for a school project I found myself laughing whenever the camera turned on...
Even though I'm not skilled at this, I'm also interested in writing fiction, possibly screenwriting? However, I hate writing essays. Fashion-designing's also interesting
I also like investigative work. This might be because I watch too much FBI/CSI shows.

I'm a young woman just trying to find her place in this world and the right career in life. I want to help people, because I just feel that there is more to life then just my own problems. Others need help too. The problem is I am interested in both careers, and I don't know which one to pursue. I'm attending San Bernardino Valley College... but right now I am at a center divider...I don't know what classes to take. I know I have to see my counsler... I guess I could just use a little adive or help from anyone out there. Please and thank you.

I'm 26 years old with a highschool education. I'm currently working at a retail store for $6.50 an hour. Unfortunately I don't make much money so i'm living with relatives. I have nothing holding me back from finding a career, moving to a new location, or continuing my education except for money. I'm wanting to start my own business someday far in the future when i'm around 35+ but right now I want to find a better job. What should i do to find a job that can offer me at least 35k a year or more? I'll do anything short of joining the military (except maybe the coast guard and navy). I love art, computers, and technology. Thank you for your input.

Here's my question/conern:

I just got hired into a finance firm, and I work in a CUBICLE for about 8 to 10 hours each day. Sitting about 7 feet behind me is a very large and NOISY printer that has an internal fan running all day inside of it. I try to ignore it, but it hurts my ears after a while. I asked my manager if the printer can be moved to another location. She said no, but did offer me the option to switch MY location. So, I tried out the new spot. The new cubicle wasn't without IT'S fair share of problems. The A/C made the spot very chilly, and, since it is away from the printer, you can now clearly hear the office's fluxtuating A/C system- sounds like "brrrrrrr, ::pause::, brrrrrrr, ::pause, brrrrr..." So, now I have a dilemma. Stay with the Printer, or move to icy-annoying land. I am afraid that if I move, I will find the new spot as WORSE, and then the OLD spot (next to the printer) will be taken up by another.Suggestions?

I know good service is key, but aside from that how can I get a lot of tips? I work at a fairly busy coffee shop and I would like feedback about how you feel about giving a barista tips. Do you feel obligated to put a dollar in the tip jar if you see a lot of dollar bills? There are also people who will allow me to take change out of my tips if i run out of pennies or nickles so I can give them back ALL their change.

I feel like I am not spending quality time with my husband. I am always at work and when I actually get time off I get called back into work. I don't want my husband to feel neglected. We miss being together like before when I did't work as much as I do know.
I was promoted to manager of a store and we had to move 60 miles from where we used to live and we are still trying to unpack everything and I feel like all we are doing is working and not spending any quality time to bond, like snuggling.
