I've always dreamed of going down in a blaze of glory---just standing up in the middle of a meeting and annoucing every single piece of information I know about the ones who are complete assclowns that will make them feel like useless jerks and then smiling and calmly leaving.
Alas, I never would. I'd write a short one or two paragraph letter, keeping it very simple without great detail just thanking them for the time there, giving them the resignation effective date and my notice period. I'd then take it into my managers office and say "I just wanted to talk to you about this it's my resignation notice..."

Depends what your job is. If you work at a restaurant or something like that- you can verbally give notice.
If your a professional- you should write a letter of resignation.
Always give 2 weeks notice- unless you really hate them and never want to use them for a reference. Then call and tell them you won't be in anymore.

give some form of nortification...at least three months in advance and try to contact someone who has already done that so you can get through the basic. Be sure to get you paper work all sorted out, if you have employment providant funds and all down tothe last cent. If you are going to a new job, get ready to transfer all nessasary paper work there.

Well, why would you want to quit your job?
The proper thing to do is to give your boss 2 weeks notice. Have a personal conversation with them and let them know that you are leaving for another opportunity. Have a written statement prepared to give to your boss.
WHATEVER you do .. DO NOT BURN BRIDGES ... too many people think "I will never need this job again" ... well, let me tell you --- you never know .. and moreover, your future employers will call your former employers for references and work performance. DONT BURN BRIDGES ... you will be sorry someday.
Best of luck.

It's best to speak with your immediate supervisor first and let them know what is going on. You should also write a letter of resignation. ( microsoft word comes with templates, there might be one on there ) It's also good to give at least two weeks notice, unless you're in an upper level job, where a month is best.
Good Luck

Don't quit. Just walk into your bosses office, and let him know that you cannot possibly continue to work there for less than TWICE what you are currently making. He'll either have to let you go, or you will get one hell of a raise.

Find a new job first, then give two weeks' notice. Never burn any bridges by not giving two weeks' notice.

Just walk out. Don't say anything. Just leave.
You can also use the "take this job and shove it" phrase. It's classic.
