Psychiatrists have to deal w/ Medicare which cuts their fee by roughly 50%. My psychiatrist charges $60 for a 20 minute med check and about $120 for a 50 minute session. My clinical psychologist on the other hand gets $150 per hour. This is for a medium sized city.
