Just ur appreciation? I seems to smell u likes her more than u says. Is she married? How does her ex-husband or children's father(s) interact with her kids? Is he (they) involved with the kids? Ur gift can send certain messages depending on what u buy her to show ur appreciation How? Have u and her had more than a "boss" relationship? It's hard to help u with what to get her without us knowing more about ur relationship to her as an employee or whatever.

If you like, I could make you up a very nice pampering gift in almost any price range. I'm a Sales Director with Mary Kay...and most Moms LOVE pampering products to relax and revitalize them. Let me know if I can help!!!

you could always get her a gift card. but if you want something more personal that she'll like, either ask her husband (not like men have good ideas on gift anyways) or just notice what type of things she has around the office or what she's interested in. im sure you can get inspired. look through sky mall magazine haha it has great random nick-nacks, perfect for things like this!

A gift certificate for dinner for her family and her at a nice, but not expensive place. Or even make up a gift basket for just her. Almost every woman loves smelly things like perfumes and lotions. You can get your own basket and hotglue fabirc in it or places like Bath and Body Works sell premade baskets with a scented theme.

crummmm, i don't know much about your relationship with your boss, i mean i don't know ANYTHING about it, but maybe you could offer to babysit while her and her husband go out for a holiday evening - and let her know it's your way of saying HAPPY 'OLIDAY, BOSS!!
