I dont feel the need to put anyone down, but I think

the next few words come to mind:

Responsibility

Integrity

Courage

Plan

I think in different areas it's possible that the job you're looking
for may not exist?

The economy is very competitive right now and we're in this
huge production cycle because of the ongoing war against
terrorism.

I used to feel the same way, but I'm a man of personal
responsibility, action and detailed plans. I believe in assisting or coaching others to get to the next level.

You might try asking a cool question for example?

What jobs are in demand?
Where should I go for resources?
Who should I contact ? to make my plan work?

I really thought the following books could serve as
motivators, resources and make for some really good
reading for you. I believe we're all on the same team
or community. I really enjoyed using the "Personal Power System by Tony Robbins" for many years. I also got
my certification in neuro linguistic programming,
practitioner's, master practitioner's and Trainer's level
certification. I got a real good kick out of attending
the curriculum for living at Landmark Education for the past
year have created some really cool results

i.e. got interviewed on Radio, I produced 2 Fashion Benefit Shows with male and female models from One Source Talent.,
I learned how to dance Salsa and re-created better relationships
with my female friends and too many to list here!!!

You can change your "stuck state" into a whole new realm
of possibility!

I think decent jobs are a thing of the past. For 3 years I worked 2 part-time jobs to keep my salary higher. No benefits. I finally decided to downsize my expenses so I could take one full-time job that paid a little less.

Union jobs will pay more and usually provide benefits, but they are hard to find.

Believe me it is not just you. I have been looking for a job for the past 5 months and have not found anything. I am handicapped and can only do certain jobs. I have had interviews but I believe it is just because of my handicap that by law they can not ignore me because of that. Here in Michigan the job market is so very scarse. They are creating jobs but nothing for anyone who has limited resourses. If you want to work part time at McDonalds or Burger King you can get a job but there are no full time jobs anymore. You can look into temporary employment but after a week or two you are back to looking for work.

No it's not just you. The Reps are touting the lowest unemployment rate in decades, because anyone can get a job; they just have to settle for $8 or $10 an hour. Decent jobs are hard to find, even with a college degree let alone without one. Welcome to the future.
