I hadn't eaten anything for breakfast today. I noticed my boss put his ham sandwich in the fridge, so I lurked by the fridge until he left. Then when my boss was out of sight, I tip-toed to the refrigerator, pulled it open, then opened his lunch bag. I unwrapped his sandwich and took half of it. As I was about 3/4 done with one half, he walked back into the lunch room, and I was basically caught red-handed eating his sandwich. I told him that I thought he brought it for me for being a stellar worker. He told me that today will be my last day for insubordination. I then made a V with my fingers, stuck my tongue in between them, bulged my eyes out, and flicked my tongue in and out with rapid oscillations; the motion of my tongue could have been modeled as a sinusoidal function with high amplitude and higher frequency. He then called security. My question is do I have a lawsuit for malpractice? What gives?

Okay, after almost 20 yrs of being a licensed insurance person, I quit my job. Lots of reasons but the biggest is that I HATE INSURANCE. Now I have no health insurance for my family and could get another job in insurance quick if I want the health coverage BUT... I want to change careers. I dont know whether to pursue becoming a dog trainer(I adore dogs!) or pursue something I am sort of good at, which is creative writing...I cant decide what to do and the longer I sit doing nothing the more I get depressed. Any advice?

I resigned due to i was going to be terminated anyways. I wanted to secure my employees benefits. Also i was confused at the time i resigned due to family separation. My wife & I split up due to her 31 yr. old son living with us and not working. He's a parolee, who's been out of prison for nine months and still has no job.
y wife always sides with her son any time there's an altercation between us.Our seventeen yr. old daughter also went against me in this incident and disobeyed me when i instructed her not to leave in her car that we had bought for her. She was leaving with my wife and pablo(her son) towards town. The next morning i was in a company vehicle and i went to my daughter's high school to retrieve her car keys due to not coming last night and for disobeying me yesterday i told her not to go anywhere in her vehicle. Well, the police got involved when my daughter called ahead of time before i arrived to the school. My company found out and that's why i resigned.

Far too typical, I graduated from college about 4 months ago. I want to get into research, ie, market research, consumer research, product research...anything! I have a BS in psychology and I have been working since I was 15, so I have about 9 years in retail experience. The problem is I hate retail, and I need a career change bad. Ive looked and applied for all sorts of jobs, some even wanting retail experience. Mostly on monster.com and I havent heard ANYTHING.

I have surpassed the freak out mode in thinking that I will never find a job, and I feel comforted in the fact that others are in the same boat I am in.

My question : what are your stories if graduated and looking for a career? Does it seem hopeless? What is your advice? Have you found a career job after you think you'd never found one? Please answer in detail, Iam excited to hear your response.

I'm just nosy, I'm 28 and earn £16500 plus commission working in media sales (Scotland). Just interested if the national average of £23kish is really accurate and how much is due to regional differences.

I have worked in Logistics most of my adult life, shipping, receiving, forklift driver, and truck driver. At age 44, I don't want to be on the road anymore, and am too old to work in a warehouse. So I'm back in school, and plan to have an Associates Degree in about a year, emphasis on English, and I will have Spanish 1, 2 and 3 by then, so I hope to be (almost) fluent. Do you think I can get a decent job with this? Or will I get nothing without a Bachelor's?

I work as a fill in at a small retail store and I just started selling AVON, which has proven to not be too successful yet. My schedule is not too flexible because of college classes. What are some ways I could make some extra cash? I am willing to work hard. I don't need an easy way out, just some extra money.
