Hi! [Asked this before, re-asking to get more opinions]

I have a MS in Computer Science
and 1-year programming experience (done that before starting the MS)
Now I don't want to work with software analysis and development
nor with Research and Development.

Could anyone give me any career prospects?
- Couldn't I be, for example, an HR in a software company?
- Teaching is good, but could I do that without experience, I haven't been a T.A. while studying for the MS?
- Any big companies require technical skills (MS) for selling their software? sales career?

Does anyone feel the same, noticing that you don't like your field a bit late, i.e. after graduating?

Any serious Help is MUCH appreciated.

Thanks in advance

My school has a business career fair next week and I am graduating this semester and am doing that job search stuff. I'm going to be wearing a suit and have extra resumes and stuff, I am just wondering how to begin a conversation with the recruiter. Do I just walk up and "Hi, my name is ___, here is my resume"? How do I engage in conversation with them?

hi.. I have been a server for a while and getting burned out on it. Just got an offer at Olive garden as a server (duh)...for 2.13 per hour/tips. Or a cashier's position at Lowe's for $9.17 per hour. I am not sure which one to take. Anybody ever work for either company? I hear Lowe's is a great company to work for, I don't know. Tired of the food industry personally. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. I know as a server in the past, people are cheap. Especially if I would be working at OG it would be strictly lunches. Help!!! Thanks!

Does anyone know of a legit home assembly company? I know they're out there, but I haven't stumbled on to one yet. I have spent too much money on the mistakes. I've seen people who actually had those types of work, but didn't know them personally and don't remember the companies that did it.

I'm putting together a presentation on protocol and fashion for the upcoming holiday season and need some fun stories. Ideally, I'm looking for things that could affect a job, but other things are fine. What are things that people did when they had a few too many? What did they do that made them call in sick the next day? What made someone quit because it was so bad? Thanks for sharing. The more details the better. Best story will get the best answer!

I am 42 years old and just graduated with my RN. I have never worked in the health field before and recently took a job on a very busy med/surg floor in a hospital. Two months have past and I don't feel like I am able to handle the amount of responsibility the job entails. I also feel that the other nurses are losing their patience with me and feel that I should be able to handle more than I am and that they are becoming unwilling to help when I need assistance. I do not want to give up but my gut feeling is that I will never be able to do this particular job well. Any suggestions?

I work for an Educantional Management (EMO) company and I am starting my own EMO. They offered me a adminstrator job (prinicpal/superintendent) at one of the schools they run. Is it illegal or unethical for met to start an EMO if I take this job? What if I turn down the job and stay a teacher for them, is it still unethical?
