There are a couple of ways of comploeting apprenticeships as an electrician in Canada.

1. If you are a Canadian citizen, you can apply through your province at various Community Colleges to get into their Electrician programs (a portion of the costs in each province are underwritten by the provincial governments). Once in the program, you will be provided with a list of electricians whom the apprenticeships work with.

2. If you are not a Canadian citizen you will have a much tougher time, you will have to find an electrician to take you on as an apprentice. He/She will have to cover all costs of the program (including health benefits, test costs, etc).

Good Luck!
