I don't "love" my job, but it's a good job with good people and I make a good living. That's all you should really care about. No one is going to totally love their job because we would really rather not have to work, as evidenced by the thousands of people here who ask about work-at-home stuff. If you want money, you have to get off your butt and get a job. After that, it all depends on what skills you've provided yourself and who you choose to work for.

I am a senior web applications developer. I work for a tiny company, there's only 6 employees including myself. I love it because we are drowning in work, which means that the company will remain successful for the time being. There is nothing worse than losing your job because your company does not have enough projects for everyone.

I also love it because I only need to go to my office once a week, the rest of the week I telecommute so it saves me a lot of time and money.

I work for a cookbook company, typing recipes. I work from home, which is a plus. The pay sucks though. I also have a bit of a self-discipline problem, so when the due date is here I usually have to work too many hours in a row to get it done on time. Let's just say that I get regular massages! I think I should ask for a raise!

I'm a patrol officer in private security. I'm the site supervisor and manage one other officer. I'm responsible for protecting residents and their homes in a private, gated community. We respond to all types of incidents and emergencies including fire and medical emergencies. All of us are trained and certified in AED, CPR, Child CPR, First Aid and First Responder. I have so far achieved the rank of Lieutenant. Personally, I hate my job, even though I do it well. My career goal is to obtain a position in pc and/or office support. I have several pc certifications. The firm I work for has dropped all benefits, which has escalated negative results on other sites, i.e. walkouts, terminations, etc.
