I saw the end of a bit on Good Morning America TV show yesterday. I missed the part though that suggested certain web sights. They were saying a person could make between $8.00 and $14.00 an hour. Does anyone know about this?

So I have this person that I work with that blamed me for them overlooking something. I think she just wanted to take a stab at making me look bad. I think she is jealous of me getting all the praise and her getting none. What can I do to back this girl off?

I had consided working in the back office as a temp medical assistant. My major career is in the film industry which I am in college right now for that. But those are temp jobs and at times work may be slow. I had considered going to a private school afterwards to get training as a medical assistant but wondered if there are temp agencies that hire MAs. Can I work as a temp in this field?

if you are in a job and you are there over 4 or 5 months and u went on holiday for 2 weeks when u got back u were told that your work was way behind and your were getting a warning for it yet you were away on holiday? plus you werent trained prob, surely there is some law against this treatment of staff? am in ireland

I have to take a drug test next week. It's a non-DOT drug test, meaning they can test your urine, hair, blood, and/or saliva. I tested negative with a urine test that I tried at home, but I am worried about the hair test because they can detect drugs you did 6 months ago. I haven't done any drugs in 3 weeks or so so I am okay with the urine... but how common do companies use hair to detect drugs?

I had a baby in May and just started a job at the end of July doing night audit at a hotel two nights a week. However, my boyfriend is getting laid off of his job and I cannot afford to work part time anymore so I have to tell my boss that he wasted his time training me and now I have to find a full time job. I don't want to tell him because I am afraid he will be angry, am I rude to quit so soon? Does my boss have a right to be mad at me? I feel bad.......but I have to do what's best for my new family........( I also hate working at night because it messes up my sleeping schedule....)

I worked in HR, payroll and accounting for many years. I am having a difficult time finding my niche. I lack a degree, which can frustrating, and at this present time, I don't plan on going to school. I may in the spring or fall of next year, but right now, I am not able to. I enjoy helping others, and would prefer to get away from the accounting profession. I like learning about labor laws and helping people with benefits, learning their rights as an employee through state and federal regulations, and I like being someone that an employee can come to to resolve issues.
So, seeing as I lack a degree, do you have any opinions on what field may be good for me to go into, where they help to train you on the job and will give you a great learning experience and help you to move up? Any companies that are like that?
And when/if I decide to go to school, what would be a degree I would need for Human Resources?

Im trying to get a job with an insurance company. They will be doing a background check. I have a clean criminal history, employment history and i dont even drive to have a driving record The only thing is I have 2 past due accounts on my credit report, will i still be offered the job? or will they withdraw their offer
